Epson reset code 700：While in the normal printing mode, press and hold the FEED button until the printer prints out a page containing the following message:

The printer has been reset. Press the CHECK button to print out the Printer Status Report.

The Printer Status Report will contain a section called “Maintenance Request.” This section lists any errors that the printer has detected.

If the report does not list any errors, then the printer has successfully been reset and is ready for use. If the report does list errors, then the error codes must be cleared before the printer can operate normally.

To clear the error codes, enter the reset code 700 by pressing the two arrow keys (up and down) on the control panel. The LED will turn on and the printer will beep in a confirmation of the reset. To complete the reset, power the printer off and on again. The printer should now be reset and ready for use.

If the error codes remain despite entering the reset code 700, try entering the reset code 650. This reset code should also clear the error codes and reset the printer, but it may not work in all cases. If the reset codes do not work, contact your printer manufacturer for assistance.
